About Klippa

Hi there! My name is Keith and I'm the creator of Klippa. I was inspired to create this versatile and affordable stick clip after searching for a solution for myself that wasn't too expensive. I started by prototyping some designs for my personal use and realized that other climbers might be interested in it too. That's how Klippa came to life!

My mission with Klippa was to create a stick clip that would be reliable and affordable for climbers. Unlike many other stick clip products on the market, Klippa doesn't come with an extendable pole. Instead, it relies purely on climbers finding a branch, walking stick, or anything else to reach up to the first bolt.

At Klippa, we are committed to the environment and preserving nature. As climbers who spend so much time in nature, we want to do our part to take care of it. That's why we choose sustainable materials like bioplastic and raw cardboard, and we manufacture Klippa right here in Australia to ensure a sustainable and ethical process.

Klippa started out as a hobby of mine, where I would prototype stick clips to avoid buying one of the more expensive and bulky options on the market. Eventually, friends encouraged me to make it better and share it with the world. As an industrial designer by trade, I applied my skills and knowledge to create a product that I knew people would love.

I hope that Klippa becomes a staple on every climber's harness as a convenient, lightweight stick clip solution.
